well, SATs were today, so i can read again without feeling guilty.gatsby was mandatory reading for my AP English III class, and i must say that it was eons better than the scarlet letter.
i truly enjoyed the rich language and fluid writing style that fitzgerald has.
it seemed like every time i reread a chapter, i found something new to think about; i guess fitzgerald does that a lot..but i wouldn't know because i haven't read anything else by him. i'm going to try to read some more of his books!
