i read this book a while back and forgot how much i loved it. a friend of mine showed it to me again the other day and i am so happy that he did.sharon creech is one of my favorite authors. walk two moons and heartbeat are probably her best novels; chasing redbird is maybe in third place, and absolutely normal chaos is in fourth.
heartbeat is written in the format of a poem and it is perfect. sharon creech writes with so much heart and love, i find it hard not to relate to her characters.
